Blog overload

It has been a while since I blogged yet again......but we are still ticking and 'spring has sprung'!

So I am afraid there is a little bit of catch up to do....These beautiful images are from  Berry Patchwork where Elizabeth had her first ever Retreat.

The backdrop to Jenny Bowker's classroom!!
Magnificent magnolia which we rarely see in my home state

Busy doing his work above!
 And this was Jenny's classroom!
Elizabeth....you did an amazing job and I am sorry I will be in the UK for the next event.
Post Blog: I have just edited the text so you can link to the girl's websites - go Aussie Quilters!
 great effort guys!
Merelyn Pearce's girls and we were spellbound by this tiny circle of applique....
all needle turn but did it really take 2 days to do!!!
Love the shot of Merelyn and Caroline....was that me you were laughing at??
Jenny Bowker's girls minus a few who were so exhausted they had to go home!
 Gloria Loughman's sensational workshop results
and Bronwyn Hayes' girls....what fun we all had!
Now for some final exciting news.....this came in the post for me yesterday from Judy in Queensland (thanks Judy X), with the words inside saying that she hoped it would make me feel like a "real nanna"!! Yes we are going to be first time grandparents in March - whoopee!!

lastly.....I am having some problems with my website so I have put my calendar here on my blog....see the page link at the top underneath the genius!

have a good week /month or whatever X

Quilting in Paradise

Doesn't that sound enticing??!! I could do with a week of stitching bliss - so much to do and I dearly want to finish a quilt for our up and coming Exhibition - fingers crossed but there might have to be a lack of sleep somewhere!

Does this look like your idea of Paradise? Click on this link to Daku ....the destination of this piece of paradise.....sun, swimming, maybe a massage or two and best of all a quilting workshop thrown in - a whole seven nights and all for less than AU$3000 with airfares included! Now I know it is not a William Morris retreat but if your idea of total relaxation is sunshine, Fijian hospitality and quilting, then check out the courses you can do. In June it is with the wonderful Lessa Siegele (just click on the name) and in August with Gloria Loughman.

Deep breath and sigh.....ahhhh!
